About Command Trust

Command Trust Network was established in 1988 by Sybil Niden Goldrich. Its mission is to ensure that women, decision makers in Washington and scientists in related fields are fully informed about breast implants so that women have enough information to make appropriate decisions about breast implants. Her activism led to the landmark 1992 Congressional hearings that resulted in the restriction of the sale of the then-unregulated devices.
